FHC Prep is a prep program at Father Henry Carr Catholic School. Originally a “traditional” high school team, the program transitioned from “high school” to “prep” basketball over the course of the 2015-2016 season, when the team captured the elusive OFSAA 'AAA' Championship.

Since the school opened in 1974, the boy’s basketball program has progressed from entry-level to competitive-level to perennial powerhouse, quickly becoming the "most consistently competitive" high school boy’s program in Canada.  It was only fitting that FHC was the 1st high school team accepted into the prestigious OSBA.

2015-2016 was truly a year of “firsts” for the Crusaders. In addition to a dominating Championship season where the team posted a 31-1 overall record, FHC also became the very first high school team sponsored by Jordan Brand. Jordan Brand sponsors the prep team and the Early Bird Prep Classic, which is widely considered the very best prep tournament in Canada.

Dozens of Crusader basketball players have graced the rosters of basketball teams at every level from men’s league to Canadian National Teams to the NBA, the highest level of basketball.

The most notable alumni are Tyler Ennis (Syracuse University & Los Angeles Lakers), Dillon Brooks (Oregon University & Memphis Grizzlies) and Sim Bhullar (New Mexico State University; Taiwan Finals MVP).

FHC Prep plays a unique role in uniting the school and community. A powerful sense of pride & identification with the community are the results of extra-curricular participation. We hope to foster school & community pride in all our students, either as athletes, volunteers or fans.
